Guidelines to Submitting a Character
In the fashion of oc_analysis at Livejournal, this board will be dedicated to the discussion of original characters. This board will serve two functions:
(1) To discuss proposed characters before they are incorporated into a fanfic; and
(2) To discuss other original characters found in HxH fandom, in substitute of a review of the actual fanfic itself.
As I abhor bannings and restriction on any form of speech (save where dictated by Probards' Terms of Service), I can only urge members to be more thoughtful and encouraging to other members who post a prototype of their character for assessment. Come on, let's be reasonable and not put down an author before they even have a chance to start.
As for the discussion of original characters found in HxH Fandom, same principle as always: If it's got good points, say it. If it's got bad points, blast it. ![[image]](http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y229/allsmilies/Cheeky/ok.gif "[image]")
In order to allow other members to have a good, solid understanding of an original character before they make any further comments on it, I would suggest the poster put up as much information as possible by filling out the below form:

Brief background of character:
Character's position or job:
Strengths/Skills:
Are these skills typical of the fandom? If not, why?:
Weaknesses/Bad habits:
Distinctive features, if any:
Are these features unique in the fandom? If so, why?:
Connections to canon characters (if any):
How does your character get on with those around him/her?:
